If this statement that accompanies the video box cover grabs you, then "Bad Boys" is the film for you. Sean Penn stars in this amazing prison film, that is like no other. The early part of the film is set on the tough streets of Chicago and later shifts locations to a juvenile detention centre. "Bad Boys" is violent, gritty and has a real edge about it. Sean Penn plays Chicago street kid Mick O'Brien who accidentally kills the brother of vicious gang leader Paco Moreno played with menace by Easi Morales of "La Bamba" fame. Penn is sent to a detention centre for his crime and soon after, the film kicks into high gear when Morales joins him, when he is charged for raping Penn's girlfriend, played by a young Ally Sheedy. Highlights include the vicious showdown between the two "Bad Boys" of the title in the film's violent and disturbing finale and who can forget the "Trojan Radio", well if you are wondering what that is; you will just have to see the film to find out. "Bad Boys" is tough, hard-hitting entertainment and is sure to please Sean Penn fans.
