* Corey is the son of Bob and Sheila Feldman. His father is a well-known songwriter / producer, whose credits include, "My Boyfriend's Back" for The Angels & "Hang On Sloopy" for The McCoys.

* As a child Corey Feldman appeared in numerous commercials, his first one being in 1974 for McDonald's. He was only 3 years old at the time.

* In 1979 Corey Feldman was about 8 years old when he began his serious film career, with brief appearances in the made for TV movie "Willa" and the big screen time travel fantasy "Time After Time".

* From 1979-1980 Corey appeared as Regi Tower in the television series "The Bad News Bears". The comedy series about the misadventures of a misfit Little League baseball team was based on the popular big screen film series of the 1970's.

* In 1980 Corey made brief appearances in the TV movies "Father Figure" with Timothy Hutton & "How To Eat Like A Child" with Dick Van Dyke.

* In 1981 Corey provided the voice of Young Copper in the animated Walt Disney movie "The Fox and the Hound".

* More TV roles followed for Corey, most notably a brief appearance in "The Kid With The Broken Halo" (1982) starring Gary Coleman and a role in the "Leave It To Beaver" revival titled "Still The Beaver".

* In 1984 Corey starred as Tommy Jarvis in "Friday The 13th: The Final Chapter", the 4th instalment of the popular horror series. Archive footage of Corey would later show up in subsequent sequels.

* Next up for Corey were two Steven Spielberg productions, the creature fantasy "Gremlins" (1984) and the action-packed teen adventure "The Goonies" (1985). Both films were a hit at the box office and paved the way for more film roles.

* In 1986 Corey starred with Wil Wheaton, River Phoenix & Jerry O'Connell in the critically acclaimed boys drama "Stand By Me". In the following year the foursome won the "Jackie Coogan Award" for their work in the film.

* In 1987 Corey Feldman appeared in Joel Schumacher's teen vampire flick "The Lost Boys", with fellow teen stars Jason Patric, Kiefer Sutherland, Jami Gertz and Corey Haim. For the two Corey's this was the beginning of a long friendship on and off the screen.

* With the success of "The Lost Boys" under their belt, the two Coreys re-teamed for the popular teen comedy "License To Drive" (1988). The film was a huge success and established both Coreys as a comedy duo that teenagers could relate to. In the following year they teamed up again for the body-switch comedy "Dream A Little Dream" (1989). Also in 1989 Corey Feldman still found time to star opposite Tom Hanks in the screwball horror comedy "The Burbs".

* In 1990 Corey starred and performed his own songs for the teen comedy "Rock n Roll High School Forever", the unrelated sequel to "Rock 'n' Roll High School" (1979).

* By 1990, at the age of 19, Corey Feldman was at the height of his film career but unfortunately success sometimes takes its toll. Corey had developed a drug problem and his career hit a low point when he was arrested for heroin possession.

* Despite his setbacks Corey continued to work throughout the 1990's starring in numerous straight to video films and made for TV features, the most notable being "Meatballs 4" (1992), "Round Trip To Heaven" (1992), "South Beach Academy" (1994) & "The Million Dollar Kid" (1999).

* During the 1990's the two Coreys were re-united on at least 4 occasions, "Blown Away" (1992), "National Lampoon's Last Resort" (1994), "Dream A Little Dream 2 (1994)" & "Busted" (1996) in which Feldman wrote and directed.

* In October 2002 Corey married Susie Sprague.

* In the new millennium Corey continues to work in TV and film but has turned a lot of his attention to his passion for writing and performing music, preferring to perform live in clubs and other venues across the United States.

* Corey Feldman fans from around the world continue to ask the question "Will there be a sequel to The Goonies"? The debate still goes on, maybe it's just wishful thinking, but then again who knows, anything is possible in the new millennium.
