Teen Movie News 2003 at HOLLYWOOD TEEN MOVIES

November 3rd 2003: The teen action, adventure, fantasy flick "Timeline" is scheduled for release November 26th. The movie stars Paul Walker & is Directed by Richard Donner (Superman The Movie & The Goonies). The plot sees a group of achaeological students travelling back in time to 14th century France to rescue their professor.

July 28th 2003: "American Pie 3: American Wedding" hits US cinema August 1st 2003. Australian release date 7th August. UK release date 15th August.

June 2nd 2003: Former teen star Demi Moore (St. Elmo's Fire 1985) & current teen star Ashton Kutcher (Dude, Where's My Car? 2000) have been spotted cruising together on a yacht in Bermuda.

May 29th 2003: Andrew McCarthy, former teen star of films such as "St. Elmo's Fire", "Pretty In Pink", "Mannequin" & "Weekend At Bernies" has been fired from the set of the US TV drama series "Law & Order: Criminal Intent", after a falling out with shows star Vincent D'Onofrio.

May 19th 2003: At the age of 37, former teen star Brooke Shields has given birth to her first child.

April 9th 2003: Kelly Clarkson & Justin Guarini stars of the TV show "American Idol: The Search for a Superstar" are set to hit the big screen June 13th in this year's long awaited beach party teen movie, "From Justin To Kelly". The film is directed by Robert Iscove the man responsible for the Freddie Prinze Jr. flicks "She's All That" & "Boys And Girls".

April 5th 2003: "Lord Of The Rings" star Liv Tyler and British singer Royston Langdon were married in the Caribbean.

March 31st 2003: Fantastic News For Teen Movie Lovers Living in Los Angeles.

Landmark’s Nuart Theatre in west Los Angeles will be presenting some rare theatrical screenings of some 80's teen movies. All screenings will be held on Friday nights at midnight.
The movies screened will be:
* VALLEY GIRL - May 2nd (new 35mm print)
* THE LAST AMERICAN VIRGIN - May 23rd
* NORTH SHORE - June 13th
* MEATBALLS - July 4th

Also, on June 20th there will be an extra special event, Grease 2 will be screened with a live cast performing in front of it. Marc Edward Heuck, star of the Comedy Central TV series "BEAT THE GEEKS" will introduce the films & give away prizes. March 22nd 2003: "What A Girl Wants", the hot new teen film from Warner Bros. will open in US cinemas April 4th. March 14th 2003:
Teen's will now have their own James Bond-style super spy in the form of "Malcom In The Middle's" Frankie Muniz. 17-year old Muniz stars in the big screen secret agent action/adventure "Agent Cody Banks", opening in US cinemas today.

January 17th 2003:
26-year-old Reese Witherspoon, star of the popular comedies "Sweet Home Alabama" & "Legally Blonde" has been voted the most popular actress in Hollywood by American magazine Entertainment Weekly.
