"Trinity" star Bud Spencer is back in the saddle again, this time without his good pal Terence Hill who has been replaced by an Indian sidekick, played by Moroccan actor, Amidou. "Buddy Goes West" is a light-hearted slapstick comedy western, full of the trademark gags & punch ups that helped make Spencer infamous. The film is directed by Michelle Lupo, the man responsible for other Bud Spencer solo outings including "They Called Him Bulldozer" (1978), "The Sheriff And The Satellite Kid" (1979), "Why Did You Pick On Me?" (1980) & "Bomber" (1982). Look out for well known Australian celebrity boxer Joe Bugner as he joins in the fun as Sheriff Bronson (no relation to Charles). Like many of the Spencer films this one is not without an eating sequence. In one of the film's standout moments Spencer & Bugner battle it out in a hilarious eating competition. If you have 90 minutes to spare & you are looking for a few good laughs, "Spencer-style", then this rollicking western is for you.
