After gaining super-smarts in "The Computer Wore Tennis Shoes" and vanishing in "Now You See Him, Now You Don't," put-upon collegian Dexter Riley (Kurt Russell) becomes a campus Hercules when he eats a breakfast cereal that contains an experimental strength formula. Joe Flynn, Cesar Romero, Eve Arden and Phil Silvers co-star. 92 min.
“The Strongest Man In The World” is the third and possibly the best in Disney's “Dexter Riley” Trilogy. “Dexter Riley” is Kurt Russell's character name in this popular Disney film series that began with, “The Computer Wore Tennis Shoes"  (1969) and was followed up with the sequel  "Now You See Him, Now You Don't" (1972). Both films were so popular that it was inevitable that a 3rd film would be made to complete the trilogy. Adult character actors Joe Flynn and Cesar Romero co-star with Russell in all three films. In this third outing Kurt Russell is excellent once again as the Medfield High School student who acquires superhuman strength after eating a breakfast cereal that contains a secret strength formula. Situations get of control when every man and his dog want to get their hands on the magic potion. “The Strongest Man In The World” is a wacky comedy/fantasy with enough goofy gags and hi-jinks to entertain viewers of all ages.
