Before John Rambo, legendary tough guy Charles Bronson starred as former Vietnam vet Vince Majestyk. All he wanted to do was live the quiet life & grow watermelons on his Colorado farm, until he was confronted by the local mafia & their hitmen. Their objective was to put him out of business & buy his land for cheap. When Mr. Majestyk fails to co-operate with them, his crop is destroyed & some of his workers are killed. It is now up to Majestyk to take the law into his own hands. Based on an Elmore Leonard novel, "Mr. Majestyk" is Bronson at his best & the film is the perfect showcase for Bronson's tough-guy personna. Excellent confrontation sequences & great one-liners add to the film's charm. "Mr. Majestyk" is a first-rate action thriller & is an absolute must for Bronson fans.
